Talroo and Phenom team up for hiring tech

Two hiring technology companies are merging their platforms to help employers fill frontline and hourly jobs more quickly.
AI-driven sourcing meets candidate experience
Talroo, an Austin-based platform focused on frontline and skilled trades workers, has joined forces with Phenom, a global talent experience management provider. The collaboration integrates Talroo’s AI-powered sourcing engine into Phenom’s system, allowing hiring teams to access candidate pools unavailable on traditional job boards.
The companies state that combining Talroo’s real-time applicant data with Phenom’s hiring tools will reduce time-to-hire and improve conversion rates for job seekers ready to work.
Michael Novey, Talroo’s head of alliances and agency relations, said the partnership unites two leaders with a common objective: hiring the right candidates faster using smarter technology. He noted that Phenom’s experience-led approach complements Talroo’s data and sourcing capabilities.

How the integration works
Employers using both platforms can activate the integration through Phenom’s marketplace. The setup enables several key features:
- Access to Talroo’s network of frontline and skilled trades workers, which the company says isn’t found on standard job sites.
- Automatic distribution of job postings to Talroo’s talent network.
- Use of Talroo’s Apply Intelligence tools to optimize ad performance and budget.
- Streamlined applicant delivery into Phenom’s platform for faster hiring decisions.
Saumil Gandhi, Phenom’s senior vice president of corporate development, described frontline hiring as one of the most difficult challenges organizations face. He explained that the partnership expands Phenom’s access to hard-to-reach talent pools while maintaining a personalized and seamless experience for candidates.
Talroo’s platform handles millions of job searches daily, using AI to connect employers with high-intent candidates. The company has received awards for its frontline-focused solutions, including recognition from Lighthouse Research & Advisory and the American Business Awards.
What employers can expect
The integration is currently available through Phenom’s marketplace. Employers already using both platforms can enable the connection without extra setup, while new customers can adopt either system before linking them.

Neither company shared pricing details, though Talroo has highlighted cost efficiency as a key advantage. Its platform reduces reliance on expensive job boards by targeting candidates actively seeking work but overlooked by mainstream sites.
For now, the partnership centers on frontline and hourly roles, but both companies have larger goals. Phenom’s platform includes tools for internal mobility and workforce intelligence, while Talroo has expanded into skilled trades. If the integration succeeds, it may lead to broader collaboration across other labor market segments.
Gandhi stated that together, the companies are helping hiring teams fill critical roles faster and more efficiently.
